My desire when creating pieces of art-is to shine Gods beauty to those who behold it.

Each piece here is inspired by prayer, nature and the vision He places in my mind & heart.Through colors, textures, and the contrast between dark and light; my goal is to shine, Gods glory, in ways that draw you into the painting and think about what is being conveyed.

My paintings are diverse. One painting can be a realism painting to bring you peace, another an abstract realism painting with a hidden symbol revealing a certain Bible story.

One painting is prophetic art, that only a theologian can understand and has over 10 hidden symbols. Another painting showing the explosion of the water, when the disciples of Jesus, threw a net “to the right” as Jesus asked them to do.I thank God for the gifted talent of painting and all the joy it brings me and hopefully you also.

"Peace"

This painting started just as a thought of a peaceful place I would like to be. Used images online for inspiration. Did not think this place existed until meeting Ashley Comer owner of Carnegie Coffee near Pittsburgh, PA. She showed me a photo from her phone of Lake Nicaragua (Lago Cocibolca) on the Island of Ometepe and it resembled the very place. We both took it as a sign to display the painting at Carnegie Coffee, Carnegie, PA

"Jericho"

I saw a picture of a Rock Wall. loved the texture of the Rocks and began to paint them. I had the whole canvas as a rock wall which made the painting too busy. When deciding what to do, I saw a side view of the figure of a man, (like a cut out) blowing a horn, toward the center of the painting.I then thought of the story in the Bible of Jericho; where the Israelites, led by Joshua, conquered the walled city of Jericho. They did it by obeying God and marching around the fortress for seven days. On the seventh day, the priests blew the trumpets, the people screamed, and the city walls miraculously fell. I painted rocks falling from the top of the painting. It was still too busy. then started blocking off parts of the painting with black and a half a circle for interest. This gave a dream like effect.
Also, if you stand back you will notice the painting is a little tilted. I did not correct it because this helps you feel the unsteadiness of the walls beginning to fall.

"To the Right"

Artwork description: This painting was inspired when watching “The Chosen” TV Series; 1, episode 4. I fell in love with this clip, where Jesus tells Simon to cast your net on the right side. (John 21: 6).The scene was filmed from an aerial view. I was drawn to this unique angle (Looking down on the two disciples) as they threw the net one more time as Jesus asked. I paused the video and took a photo.I desired to paint this scene, to capture the unseen glory of God I perceived had to be in that moment with Jesus, Simon, and Peter. The moment right before 153 large fish were pulled into the small fishing boat.

"The Watchman"

This is a very rare Prophetic Painting. I had taken a close-up picture of a distressed clay pot to paint as abstract. As I listened to Christian music in worship while painting the pot; I would see spiritual symbols appear. See if you can spot them? Starting at the bottom left of the painting moving counter clock wise.A hand lifting the world up to avoid a snake (Evil) from attacking the world. The snake’s head is cut off by prayer and an angel. The Watchman (the side view of a woman’s face) is looking through a binocular keeping close eye on the world. The Watchman represents those chosen in the Church as Intercessors for God’s people. As she hears from God (See Shofar near her ear) & sees trouble, she will blow the shofar, that will alert the Church. (Far upper left-stain glass). In the church we see the dove-representing the Holy Spirit holding an olive branch, Gods promises. We can vaguely make out a finger extended out for the dove to land on from the woman’s hair.We can see the head of a fish speaking in the ear of the watchman as well as a shofar Hearing from heaven which is key to hearing from God. (See the key hole to the right) This needs to be unlocked to blow the shofar. Far left bottom of the picture shows gold dots coming down from heaven-representing Jesus coming down to earth to walk calvary (the white path) which ends when He dies (when the road ends) and flourishes the tree of life which is seen through the church and the rest of the upper painting. The Gold leaf throughout the painting represents the Holy Spirit and Power of God. The blue throughout the painting represents The Heavens.

"Gods Call"

This painting is representative of the scene experienced by those attending the baptisms (The Church of Jesus Christ) during the 2018 GMBA Camp Out in Redlands, CA. As depicted in the painting, people used umbrellas to shield themselves from the intense sun, while gathered at the water’s shoreline.Spectators noted the flecks of gold that sparkled from the water looking like pieces of treasure provided by the Lord. The mountains rising majestically into the sky, created a breathtaking backdrop for those who had made this lifechanging covenant. They seemed to represent the power of our mighty God. During the baptisms, the spirit of God was so strong, that a nearby fisherman, Charlie, put down his pole on the pier, walked across the sands to our ministers, and surrendered his life to the Lord.He spoke of the struggles of his life and stated that he wanted the Lord’s help. Charlie, who was spending his day off from working at the park, also commented on the beautiful and amazing gold flecks reflecting through the water. Gold flecks were purposefully woven into the foreground to represent the gold that was seen by the spectators and Charlie. The artist chose specific spacing with the center most spectator to represent those who might have been contemplating their calling but had yet to render obedience. The various colors throughout the water capture the movement of the waves that constantly lapped on the shoreline and on the feet of those watching the beautiful event. The white baptism towels, that are always part of this ordinance, were carefully included in the scene.
